What inspired you to start blogging? I was helping friends find outfits for events and travel, so for fun I started posting outfits on IG. After a few months I started researching bloggers and realized I was following bloggers in their 20’s and early 30’s, but was looking for women in their 40’s and 50’s. They were few and far between, so I decided to create my blog around an ageless lifestyle and help women find the clothes that make them feel confident.
How would you describe your style? My style is classic and sophisticated with a modern edge. For example a pair of distressed jeans with a white crisp blouse and snakeskin booties, leopard booties, or heels. I still love ruffles and florals as well, so feminine and romantic at times.
What is your favorite way to style the Anne Fontaine white shirt? love to keep it simple and classic. I’d pair it with distressed/regular jeans, or a pencil-midi skirt along with heels, or boots in the Fall/Winter.
What are your favorite Anne Fontaine pieces to style from day to night? I am loving the Loe white sweater with the braided details. I can style it easily with denim and sneakers in the daytime, or throw on some heels and add a chic bag for a night out.
What is a must have every woman should have in their wardrobe? A woman must have one, or several, white shirts. Whether it be one with ruffles, or statement sleeves, they can be worn so many ways and never go out of style! A good white shirt can be styled with shorts, denim, short/long skirts, dressy pants, dressed up or down, tied at the waist, belt around the waist – it’s endless!
What is your favorite season for fashion, and why? I absolutely love fall. I have always loved jeans, boots and sweaters. I guess you can say I dress more feminine and girly in the Spring/Summer months and more edgy-glam in the Fall/Winter months.
