Describe your style:
It’s hard to pinpoint - but that’s what I like about it. Looking at my closet, there isn’t much color, but I don’t turn down something that makes me feel good in my own skin. I always have to be comfortable, and that’s probably why my sneaker collection dominates the heels.

What is your style pet peeve?
Fidgeting. That may sound strange. But when someone is fidgeting in their outfit, I immediately become uncomfortable for them. Be in an outfit that you can rock and not worry if something comes slightly out of place.

Where do you draw inspiration from?
I absolutely love street style. It’s different, and has an ability to seem so natural and un-forced. The best style is always on the street, and it’s inspiring to be able to draw from trends in other countries in real time.

What is your favorite season for fashion, and why?
FALL! I’ve loved fall since I was little and got to go back to school shopping. I feel like I still do that as an adult. There’s just something about fresh denim and a new pair of boots that makes me excited to crunch through the leaves.

What made you start blogging?
I used to own a magazine, and when I sold it I missed the photo shoots and the styling. Blogging just seemed like a natural next step. I also love to write, and wanted an outlet for my 2am typing addictions.

How have social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat affected your blogging/ blogging career?
Instagram is definitely the best way to discover influencers that relate to your life and style. I’ve also found influencers that I adore, and seeing their day to day lives on Instagram Stories is great to learn their personalities. Instagram has become a new form of creativity and expression and I love that about the platform. You can get a feel for a person within a grid of curated photos, and look into their world and their vibes.

What is your best piece of fashion/styling advice you got from someone else?
She definitely didn’t say it to me, but a quote from Blake Lively has guided me well. “I never think about how other people will respond to the way I dress.” Coming back to that quote keeps me real. It keeps me authentic.
